The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is conducted jointly by the British Council, the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations and IELTS Australia, which is the sub-division of IDP, the leading educational organization of Australia.

S.B. International has tie ups and links with pre-eminent universities and colleges across the globe, thereby posing as their representative. The Company envisaged the concept of offering free IELTS training to all its candidates for an overall development of their English Proficiency. After students register with the respective college of their preference through S.B. International, the college/ university follows up on the registration and gives us an intimation to offer free IELTS training to our particular candidates.

In accordance with the above intimation, S.B. International provides free IELTS training to all its registered students. Our ace faculties guide each student under their personal vigilance and individual care. The IELTS faculties of S.B. International are scattered over India’s leading cities and metros, imparting coaching classes to our registered students in the vicinity of their residence.

Students may avail this facility by attending the coaching classes in specific centers. By the time our students complete the IELTS classes, we make sure they become proficient enough to secure the required band score in the IELTS examination, thereby making them eligible to apply for any course of their choice in the country of their interest. Given below is some information regarding IELTS in order to acquaint our students with the IELTS format:

IELTS Registration:

• You must apply to a test centre to take an IELTS test prior to the test date.
• You need to submit the IELTS application form in the test centre with the test fee, two passport sized photographs and a photocopy of your passport.
• The test centre will confirm the date and time of your IELTS test.
• You will need to carry the passport or other identification number, which you have mentioned in the admission form, while taking the test.

IELTS Test Format:

IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is used as the language of communication.
IELTS evaluates ones listening, reading, writing and speaking proficiency in English. IELTS scores range from Band 1 to 9, with Band 1 score indicating the non-user and Band 9 indicating the expert user who has full command of the English language.

All candidates need to complete four modules of Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking to obtain an IELTS Test Report. The Listening and Speaking part is the same for all candidates. In order to assess whether a candidate can study undergraduate or postgraduate courses in English medium, the admission to academic programs of overseas institutions is based on the results of the Academic Training Modules. The General Training Modules emphasizes on the survival dexterity of a candidate in broader areas of social and educational scenarios. This test does not evaluate full range of formal language skills needed in academic environments.
